Never Alone

Read

Hebrews 13:5

“Let your conversation be without covetousness and content with such things are you have for He said, I will never leave, you nor forsake you.”

Today’s Encouragement

Several years ago, I had the opportunity to go hiking. I didn't realize how afraid of heights I was until we had gone across a bridge. I looked over the bridge and I froze. My friend looked at me and grabbed my hand to let me know that it was ok and that he was with me. When we got to the other side, I looked back with relief because I made it.

God reminded me in that moment that as we journey through life we will come across a path that will seem uncertain, unstable, and unclear, and the way across seems long. At times everything around you will seem hopeless, the way down will kill you for sure, and going back has no promise in return. Just remember in those times when you feel lonely that you are never alone.

Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you just for who you are. For being a very present help in times of trouble. Thank you for the fact that no matter what I may go through in life you are always there. What if we would only seek you, then we would find you? In Jesus's Name Amen!

Reflections

Is there anything in your life that is keeping you from getting to the other side?
