Keep Fighting the Good Fight of Faith

Read

“In my distress, I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help.

From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.”

Psalm 18:6

Today's Encouragement

Have you ever had one of those “I'm Over It Kinda Days”? Where you felt like you had taken all that you could take. You were ready to throw up your hands and throw in the towel. If there was just one more thing it could likely put you over the edge.

I believe we have all had those moments well we have become weary, but we still did not quit. Those are the moments we must be honest with ourselves and where we are and ask the Lord for help. I know that if God doesn’t do it, it cannot and it won’t be done. He wants us to trust him enough that when we call his name he will answer.

Prayer

Dear heavenly father, I thank you for being a present help in the time of trouble. I’m grateful that when I call upon your name you hear me, and you answer the call. May we learn that is in your name that all things are possible. In Jesus Name Amen.

Reflect

  • Recall a time when you called upon the Lord, and he answered you. Remember he is the same God.
