Day 6 Empower - Self-care is Empowerment

Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s essential for empowerment! When you prioritize your well-being, you unlock your potential and live a more fulfilling life.

Prioritizing yourself and nurturing your mind, body, soul, and spirit are part of empowering yourself. That means being able to put your needs and yourself above others. Don’t wait until you have given so much to others that you have nothing to give to yourself.

You can create self-care practices by:

  1. Paying attention to your physical health

  2. Tending to the needs of your mental health

  3. Creating emotional stability - “I control my emotions, my emotions don’t control me”

“Self-care is a journey, and not a destination.”

Remember to:

  • Be patient with yourself

  • Don’t be afraid

  • Find what works for you
